What that God is called in different cultures takes on a different name, face and teachings depending on local needs and customs.

Many times when an educated man or women honors a lessor “god”, they understand they are honoring a man or women who lived back in the dark ages and beyond, who did things so big, so great, or bad at times, their myths has survived in a form of a cultural lessor “god”.

General George s Patton of WW 2 fame, or infamous depending which side you were on was chastised by a self righteous “Christian” chaplain for using a “pagan prayer” before a battle.

Naming the mythical warrior of history Patton responded:
“He prayed to his God before battle, I pray to my God before battle.
God is God no matter by what name one calls God!”
